...that's what one of the warriors in my "Gates to Kryta" team must have thought, because even after 1 player dropped the connection, another went afk for minutes and the rest of the team (including myself

) died a horrible death in a nasty rush, he still went on and managed to finish the mission.

It was right in front of the last boss, where a large mob just waits to be rushed, which usually -proven again in this case- results in a mass death.
Instead of giving up, since the rez signet was already used, he kept on pulling the mobs one after the other back to the NPC warriors, so that he was able to kill them slowly, but steadily.
During one of the pulls, you couldn't even see his health bar anymore, but a well timed healing signet and managing to reach the NPCs in time resulted in a successfull, yet most amazing pull I've seen since playing the game.

When finally the path to the boss had cleared, none of us expected a pull of the boss and the level 18 horseman to be working, but we got proved wrong and he managed to finish the mission alone, while the rest of the team cheered him on over the team channel.

None of us dead players expected this to work, but there he is, soloing our team mission

That was the best mission run I've experienced so far, thanks to a warrior/necromancer named Daroth Lightblade! ("Run, Forrest, run!")

Yeah i know such situations. I myself had 4-6 quests where only one survived (at least 2 times myself) and finished the job.
Shame is that some (dead ones) have no faith and leave before all is lost.

That EXACT same thing happened to me. I watched my R/E friend do the same. It was amazing

During one of the later missions I think before the iron mines, my entire group didn't understand the concept of avoiding the murset and all died except for me. So I needed to pull a little splinter cell and snuck across the map to where the npcs were being held while avoiding all the mobs, and I freed them and due to the cutscene everyone rez. And yet no one thanked me for that, I get no respect

Yeah,
I prefer to sit back and enjoy the show to see what's going on - actually only found out recently that you can switch to other players view while you're dead. It was quite boring before I found out about that

Something like this has happened to me twice on missions (I was one of the dead ones

), and a bunch of times in explorable areas (trusty portals save the day!)...

It's really amazing to watch...

A warrior with sprint, less than 1% of his health bar, and a mob hot on his heels makes an interesting race to the next gate!
